International students from Africa, India, or one of the chosen Commonwealth nations who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Nottingham and contribute to the development of their home nation are eligible for the Developing Solutions Scholarship Program.

All of Africa’s countries, including Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Montserrat, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

Scholarship worth and components:

50–100% of the cost of tuition

 

Eligibility:

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• Have their primary residence in one of the chosen Commonwealth nations, India, or Africa (listed above)

• Be categorized for fee purposes as an international student.

• Have a commitment to begin a full-time master’s program, including an MRes, in the faculties of engineering, medicine and health sciences, science, or social sciences at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom in October 2022.

You cannot currently be enrolled at or have just graduated from the University of Nottingham, or have previously studied abroad. Priority is given to students who have never before studied abroad. Students enrolled in courses in the UK at the time of application are not eligible.

Through the university’s online application system, MyNottingham, you can submit an application for scholarships. The due date is this Friday, May 20, 2022. (midnight, UK time).
