In the majority of Sussex Schools, there are University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships available. These grants are made available to international and EU students who have applied for and been accepted into the University of Sussex’s eligible full-time Master’s programs. The selection of recipients is based on their talent and academic performance.

  • Accreditations and degrees (including PGCE)
  • Brighton and Sussex Medical School courses (BSMS)
  • MA in Development Studies
  • MA in Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
  • Business, Globalization, and Development MA
  • Public Policy, Development, and Governance MA
  • Social Change, Power, and Participation MA
  • Development and Poverty MA
  • Social work master’s degrees (if receiving a NHS bursary)
  • Online education
  • Schools oversee teaching curricula
  • Any master’s degree supported by a research council, such as an ESRC 1+3 grant

Eligibility:

For this scholarship to be available to you, you must:

  • Have accepted a spot on a full-time eligible Masters program starting in September 2022 at the University of Sussex.
  • Achieve high academic standing (UK first class or equivalent)
  • Be categorized as being abroad for payment purposes.

You must have accepted an offer of a spot in an approved Master’s program at Sussex in order to be eligible for the Chancellors International Scholarship. Once you’ve been given a scholarship to attend Sussex, you must fill out a separate online application. The cutoff date is March 31, 2022.
